Study Abroad

The BA/MD Program supports students’ interest in studying nationally and internationally. The opportunity to study abroad needs to be investigated on an individual basis because it depends on the following factors: when and where the student is interested in studying abroad, does the host school have a language requirement, does study abroad program fit into the curriculum of the student’s chosen major. Please see the BA/MD academic advisors for individual consultation.

Students may not study abroad in the spring of the fourth year due to required curriculum assisting with preparation for transition to the UNM School of Medicine. There is no course equivalency and will be a degree requirement of the BA/MD Program.
