BA/MD Pre-Med Science Core

The "BA/MD Pre-Medical Science Core" is a group of physical sciences and math that are foundational coursework for:

  • pre-med students
  • preparation for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT)
  • pre-requisites for admission to the UNM School of Medicine (SOM)
  • in which all coursework must be successfully completed with a standard letter grade of a C or better

Since you, as the student, must assume FULL RESPONSIBILITY for meeting all graduation requirements, we recommend that you keep your advisement documents in a safe place. You may need to refer back to these documents when meeting with various advisors on campus.
