Workshops

The Health, Medicine and Human Values (HMHV) 2993 Workshop is taken in the fall and spring semester of the first year. They are designed to assist students in learning how to navigate the university, the program, and exposure to community and clinical health through community service, shadowing experiences, and health education topics.

The Health, Medicine and Human Values (HMHV) 398 Workshop is taken in the spring semester of the second year. It is designed to expose students to the history and importance of public health and prepare students for the summer practicum experience.

2993. Health, Medicine and Human Values Workshop. (1-3, may be repeated twice)
Various topics in preprofessional development, portfolio management, study, and career skills for HMHV students.
Restriction: must be enrolled in HMHV program.

398. Community Service/Public Health Workshop. (1-3, may be repeated twice)
Various topics in community service and public health as preparation for summer practicum/preceptorship.
Restriction: must be enrolled in HMHV program.
